Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
We want the Irish Funds Register to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a working standard, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the site rather than a one-off exercise.
2. What we have done
In building the Register we have aimed to:
- use clear, semantic HTML so the page structure is meaningful to screen readers;
- keep the site fully operable by keyboard, without requiring a mouse;
- maintain readable colour contrast between text and its background;
- make the layout responsive so it adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops, and to zoom;
- label form fields and interactive controls so their purpose is clear;
- avoid movement, flashing, or auto-playing content that could cause difficulty.
3. Known limitations
The Register presents a very large dataset, and some parts — in particular the main fund table and the charts — are more demanding to navigate than simple text. We are continuing to improve the experience for assistive-technology users in these areas. If you encounter a barrier, the key information is also available through search and the individual fund detail views.
4. Giving us feedback
If you have difficulty using any part of the Register, or you would like information provided in a different format, please get in touch. Tell us what you were trying to do and what went wrong, and we will do our best to help and to fix the underlying issue. We aim to respond within five working days.
