Data Sources & Disclaimer
1. Where the data comes from
The Irish Funds Register republishes information drawn from the Central Bank of Ireland’s publicly available register of authorised investment funds and fund service providers. We collect that public information, structure it, and present it in a more searchable and accessible format. The data is refreshed periodically so that the Register broadly reflects the current published position.
2. Accuracy and completeness
While we take care to reproduce the source information faithfully, we make no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any purpose. The register you see here may lag the Central Bank’s live position between refreshes, and individual records may contain errors or omissions carried over from the source or introduced in processing.
The information shown is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice, and it must not be relied upon as such. Any decision relating to a specific fund should be based on that fund’s own offering documents and on advice from a suitably qualified professional.
3. How we process the data
We reformat and reorganise the public records — for example, grouping sub-funds under their umbrella, standardising dates, and tidying stray characters — but we do not knowingly alter the substance of the underlying records. Some fields are intentionally blank because the Central Bank does not publish them: notably, the investment manager of a fund is not part of the public register, so that information is not shown here.
4. Spotted something wrong?
If you believe a record is inaccurate, please let us know and we will look into it. Please remember that the Central Bank of Ireland’s register remains the source of truth; where our data differs from theirs, theirs prevails.
5. Intellectual property
The underlying factual data originates from public records. The compiled presentation, structure, design, and branding of the Irish Funds Register are the property of its operator. You may use the Register for lawful business and research purposes as set out in our Terms of Use; you may not scrape or systematically extract the data for resale or redistribution.
