Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
The Irish Funds Register is operated by Quayside Fund Management Ltd (the “data controller”). For any questions about this policy or your personal data, send us a message.
2. What we collect
When you register for access, we collect the details you provide in the sign-up form:
- Full name
- Work email address
- Organisation
- Role / job title
- Phone number — optional, only if you choose to provide it
- Marketing-consent flag — whether you ticked the optional marketing box at sign-up
We also record automatically:
- Sign-in timestamps and session metadata — when you request a code and sign in.
- Server access logs — standard request logs (IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamp) retained by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
We do not collect payment or financial information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Why we collect it and our lawful bases
- To give you access to the Register (lawful basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interest) — we email you a one-time sign-in code and use your details to create and secure your account.
- To understand who uses the Register (lawful basis: legitimate interest) — your organisation and role help us understand our audience and improve the service. You may object to this at any time.
- To send occasional updates about Irish funds and our related services (lawful basis: consent) — only if you ticked the optional marketing box at sign-up. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us.
4. Who processes your data
We use the following processors to run the service:
- Supabase — stores your account and profile data, in the EU (Ireland) region.
- Vercel — hosts the website and holds standard server access logs.
- Resend — delivers your sign-in-code and update emails on our behalf.
- Web3Forms — delivers any message you send us through the contact form.
Where any processor operates outside the European Economic Area, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
Account data is retained while your account is active. If you have not signed in for 24 months, we will delete your account automatically. You can request earlier deletion any time.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Have inaccurate data corrected;
- Have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”);
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Object to processing or withdraw consent;
- Lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies & local storage
To keep you signed in, we store a single strictly-necessary sign-in token in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie). We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, there are no tracking pixels, and the site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers — everything is served from our own domain.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy.
