Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
The Irish Funds Register is operated by Quayside Fund Management Ltd (the “data controller”). For any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at privacy@quayside.ie.
2. What we collect
- Email address — provided by you when you sign up.
- Sign-in timestamps and session metadata — recorded automatically when you log in.
- Marketing-consent flag — whether you ticked the consent box at signup.
- Server access logs — standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) retained by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
We do not collect names, addresses, financial information, or any other identifiers beyond your email.
3. Why we collect it
- To provide the service (lawful basis: legitimate interest) — we need an email address to send you the magic link that lets you sign in.
- To send occasional updates about Irish funds news (lawful basis: explicit consent) — only if you ticked the consent box at signup. You can withdraw consent any time.
4. Where your data is stored
Your account data is stored with Supabase (a data processor) in the EU (Ireland) region. Your data does not leave the European Economic Area. Server logs are held by Vercel (also a data processor) under their EU-region terms.
5. How long we keep it
Account data is retained while your account is active. If you have not signed in for 24 months, we will delete your account automatically. You can request earlier deletion any time.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Have inaccurate data corrected;
- Have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”);
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Object to processing or withdraw consent;
- Lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@quayside.ie. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use a single strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or tracking pixels.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy.
